January 2018 | Press Release
During our customer interactions throughout 2017 we listened to the frustrations and needs in the field and found one common theme surrounding the Safe Patient Handling and Mobility (SPHM) community: customers need support to ensure program success. Just buying the right equipment does not solve the problem. They most frequently asked us, “How can we improve compliance with SPHM?” Wy’East Medical strives to be your complete safe patient handling company and in response to your requests we are formally launching a patient handling solutions program support division named SUSTAINABLE. This division of Wy’East is led by nationally recognized SPHM expert and the Bedside Mobility Assessment Tool (BMAT) co-author, Amber Perez. Amber and her team bring their experience as SPHM specialists, ergonomists, therapists, nurses and clinicians to the SUSTAINABLE program support services. We chose the name SUSTAINABLE because that is what we will help you achieve, SUSTAINABLE success.
So, how are we different? Other program support companies want to embed themselves into your hospital, brand their program and create dependency. We do it differently. SUSTAINABLE will prepare you to run your own, unique program. We provide evidence-based tools and education, offer training and support and collaborate to design a program in alignment with your organizations mission, vision and values. We offer very low-cost or even no-cost support, depending on your need. We believe that helping you achieve success will strengthen our relationship as an equipment vendor and open more opportunities to engage.
We offer training support, education modules, FREE webinars, FREE SPHM tools and resources, patient-focused program support and more. Please refer to our new SUSTAINABLE website for more information: www.sph-solutions.com
